Berisha rallies Shkodër

The communist rebellion has pounced with barbaric ferocity and savage revenge against our doors, houses, farms, shops, properties, bridges, roads, rocks, churches, mosques and tekkes The people of Shkodër vote for the victory of the PD The communist rebellion has pounced with barbaric ferocity and savage revenge against our doors, houses, farms, shops, properties, bridges, roads, squares, investments, churches, mosques and tekkes The leader of the Democratic Party, in yesterday’s election meetings in Shkodër, promised that the government and the authority that will emerge from the elections will restore law and constitutionality. Or the subjugation of Albania to the red hordes? Or the surrender tonight of a private economy to individuals? Or the shackling of freedom of speech, thought and protest? Or the return of communist terror over all of us? Never! And they will never be able to drag us back into the communist hell. At the meeting with the young people of Shkodër and the residents of Shkodër, the PD leader, Berisha, said among other things: “Never again in Albania can anyone take us hostage, never can anything defeat us, no one can impose themselves on us with weapons, with tanks, with violence. Never can we accept a communist rebellion in Albania. Never will we submit to Bolshevik revolutions, to the Albanian Saint Bartholomew’s revolution. We vote for national dignity, for the victory of democratic Albania, we vote for the future of our children, for the freedom and prosperity of Albania.” This is what the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said at the meeting with the residents of the city of Shkodër. Earlier Berisha had held a meeting with residents of the villages of Berdicë, Koman and Shtoj, in the Rrethina commune, where the PD candidate for deputy in this area, Bardhylka [?[]. also took part. At the meeting, the PD leader said that the vote of 29 June is a vote for another Albania, because Albania has been attacked not only by communist rebellion and revenge, but also by the betrayal of the socialists. Berisha directly accused the chairman of the PS, Rexhep Mejdani, saying that he declared he would govern the country with the rescue committees. “If Albania is to be governed with rescue committees, that means it will be governed by criminals, murderers, traffickers and ordinary thieves. For this reason, we all must defend our country from this danger.” Addressing the chairman of the PS, Berisha countered his statement of the previous day that on 30 June the people must bring down the government. Berisha said that he had deceived the Albanians, that the government’s days were numbered, but in reality the one whose days are numbered is the chairman of the socialists. Meanwhile, the PD chairman in his speech in Shkodër also spoke about the events of recent years. “For 46 years Albanians suffered under the harshest dictatorship in Europe. In 6 years we built the rule of law, established the market economy, democratized the country, but now the communists are seeking by force the return of the past.” At the end of the meeting Berisha called on the people of Shkodër to vote massively for the PD on 29 June. Whoever chose the PD chose victory

Thus, in yesterday’s meetings with residents of the villages of the Dajç commune, the PD leader, Sali Berisha, said that the future of the PD, the future of freedom, of development, is the future of Albania. “Those who voted for the PD chose victory and not subjection. You cannot support the rescue committees, because these committees are blind tools of communism. You cannot vote for those who set Albania on fire, who turned it into a real hell. You must vote for peace, order, development and freedom.” According to Berisha, a victory for the PD means an end to chaos, an end to weapons in the hands of gangs, and a return to the rule of law.
